Founder and CEO Arundati Dandapani is proud of four more bright data storytellers and research bloggers who are her students at Humber College. These talented students pictured above bagged the top spots in a best research blog competition sponsored by Generation1.ca every semester. The student winners pictured above won special copies of the books The Power of Women: Stop blocking and start empowering women at work by Dr. Parves Khan and Next: Where to Live, What to Buy, and Who Will Lead Canada’s Future by Dr. Darrell Bricker and the opportunity to publish their works on Generation1.ca.
The book prizes were awarded by their Professor Arundati Dandapani at the Humber College RAP Research Forum 2024 on March 22nd, where the theme was, quite fittingly, AI and Research: Convergence Points, bringing together various industry experts and industry partners to widen the discussion on skills and best practices across all sides of the global data, analytics and insights business as we scoped collectively the future of human-machine interactions.
It has never been a more exciting time to be human, and these blogs below are a strong testament to the power of ethics, critical thinking and human intelligence, in a world that should only be wisely and effectively enabled by vast technologies, tools, and techniques for better decision-making. The award-winning blogs were:
Examining the Impact of Police Powers and Accountability Measures on Reducing Incidents of Police Brutality in Canada– by Ikechukwu Nduchebe
“Money Can’t Buy Happiness.” Truth, Fiction, or Both? – by Michael Tracey
Zooming In: Taking a Closer Look at Brand Expectations of Generation Z in Latin America – by Christie Chavez
Stay tuned for more of these exciting blog-articles and data stories in the coming days.
