The upcoming session, “The Strategic Storyteller,” focuses on transforming overwhelming data into actionable insights while reinforcing the importance of creativity and judgment in marketing. Emphasis is on human-centered strategic advantage.
Generation1.ca hosted the event “Poly.technic Futures” at Humber Polytechnic, uniting students, educators, and industry leaders to discuss inclusive ecosystems for learner success. Key themes included skills development and community partnerships. Attendees enjoyed a Caribbean lunch, and CEO and Professor Arundati Dandapani won a raffle prize, adding to the vibrant experience.
In March, I presented at ESOMAR’s LATAM Congress on the role of methodological innovation in responsible AI governance. My research discusses using ethically governed synthetic datasets to understand hard-to-reach immigrant groups. I address AI governance trade-offs and emphasize the need for careful strategic decisions to balance privacy, innovation, and social inclusion.
In this latest Leading by Association episode, Ali Demircan discussed trauma, community leadership, and recovery with Arundati Dandapani. He emphasized that lasting trauma extends beyond media coverage and highlighted the need for long-term community support. In 2025, Generation1.ca CEO Arundati Dandapani launched AfroRise2050, a fellowship connecting African immigrants to their homelands and the world. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Generation1.ca unveils “Our Dreams for Africa” anthology, highlighting the challenges faced by immigrants of colour and promoting cultural exchange, knowledge and support within and across the African immigrant diaspora.
