Generation1.ca was proud to host Poly.technic Futures: From Classroom Promise to Student Success at Humber Polytechnic, bringing together students, educators, industry leaders, and community partners to explore how inclusive ecosystems can help learners thrive in a rapidly evolving workforce.
The session spotlighted the power of skills development, career pathways, newcomer integration, data-driven insight, and community partnerships in shaping future-ready talent. Through student success stories and Generation1.ca’s broader work, the event emphasized a clear message: classroom promise becomes lasting impact when education, industry, and community work together. Professor and CEO Arundati Dandapani walked away with the raffle prize at the end of the Conference which included a book bag, a book, a water bottle and T-shirt merch! All attendees were treated to a delicious Caribbean lunch, and ice-cream at the end of the event in farewell.
