Generation1.ca spotlights a critical role immigrants play in North America amid rising anti-immigration sentiments on both sides of the border. While our 10th-anniversary campaign emphasized the need for inclusive policies and professional development to address barriers faced by immigrants, our 11th shed light on more recent research and insights influencing integration and barriers to a better served citizenry and workforce. Key findings indicate a gap between employer demand for immigrant talent and integration opportunities in their workplaces, heightening a call to action for inclusive professional supports and recognition for their immense contributions to society and their professions.
