Congratulations Data Storytellers!

Every year Generation1.ca sponsors a best data and insights blogs contest organized by founder Arundati Dandapani in her research communications courses at Humber College where she leads, trains and guides global and domestic cohorts of research professionals as their professor. This snapshot is from the best data and insights blogs contest we sponsor for first semester Research Analyst Program students in her classes. Fall semester’s winners won exciting book copies of NEXT and Empty Planet courtesy of Ipsos’ Global CEO of Public Affairs, Dr. Darrell Bricker (author of the two books) and the opportunity to be published on Generation1.ca with individual certificates of achievement.

Good luck to all those giving their final exams, and then happy holidays. Stay tuned for some of these exciting upcoming publications from topics as wide as knitting to climate change, fair trade, bad sleep, failing health communications and procrastination psychology.

The pictured students’ winning data stories’ titles included:

* Why women knit and crochet?

* Is our climate changing?
