Transform Your Career: Mentorship Insights from Experts

On November 18th, the Women in Research (WIRe) Toronto community comes together for an evening of insights, networking, and empowerment—focusing on how mentorship transforms careers, strengthens inclusion, and builds the future of marketing research. Generation1.ca is proud to be invited through its Founder & CEO, Arundati Dandapani, who joins a dynamic panel of fellow WIRe mentors spanning CX, UX, teaching, writing, and leadership. Their conversation will explore how mentorship accelerates professional growth, unlocks opportunities, and creates meaningful pathways across the research and analytics ecosystem.

Arundati is also a seasoned industry mentor across multiple organizations including the Canadian Marketing Association, The Forum, Humber Polytechnic, Algonquin College, Women in Research, Women Entrepreneurship Centre (WEC), Generation1.ca and beyond—guiding diverse professionals and leaders across sectors.

This aligns closely with Generation1.ca’s own mentorship and talent-building impact, demonstrated in our career fairs, case competitions, and data showing that mentorship is one of the strongest predictors of newcomer confidence, career readiness, and long-term success. Through our work, we see every day how guided support helps professionals—especially immigrants—navigate systems, build networks, and thrive.

Whether in research, analytics, tech, or social enterprise, mentorship remains a powerful bridge connecting people to purpose, guidance, and community.

“When we mentor, we don’t just shape careers—we shape futures. Every conversation, every piece of guidance, and every shared network fuels someone’s path to leadership. I’m proud to stand with diverse leading organizations and communities that champion the kind of mentorship that accelerates inclusion and strengthens our entire talent force while future-proofing industry.”
