Growing the Talent Pool – Expanding Youth Membership Pathways (e.g. YES) to Under 35-year-olds

This pillar of my election promise is all about creating opportunities for professional and career advancement for diverse-skilled talent and improving representation for those Under-35. I have envisioned, executed and led career fairs and case competitions attracting hundreds of jobseekers biannually and more offline career clinics and exchanges on college and university campuses, secured several influential national and global sponsors and partners, including the Bank of Canada, Royal Ontario Museum, ESOMAR, Conestoga College, The University of Georgia and so many others, led on mentorship programs for Canadian Marketing Association, Humber Polytechnic, Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology and others as well as professional upskilling opportunities for diverse professionals and newcomers, ensuring a seamless transition into the workforce.

My commitment to Future-Ready Talent and Industry Growth is reflected in my mission to:

  • Create pathways for under-35 professionals through direct mentorship and expanding ESOMAR’s YES membership to grow representation for a highly vocal and significant group.
  • Advocate for intergenerational / intercultural mentorship programs to bridge knowledge, skills, and leadership development.
  • Ensure metrics-driven success tracking, using benchmarks for engagement, career impact, and skills acquisition.

  • Recognized as a Top 75 Global Data & Insights Legend at ESOMAR Congress 2023.
  • Won diverse industry awards including recent winner of the 2024 ESOMAR Best Paper of the Year Award, showcasing my ability to drive industry-leading insights with impactful data storytelling, and presented at two ESOMAR conferences through 2024. Chaired global conferences, including presentations at top industry conferences ESOMAR Congress, Insights Association’s AI Ignite, IIeX Greenbook, CDAO Canada and other symposiums.
  • Led, launched, and managed certifications for data, analytics and insights professionals, increasing industry credibility and professional development across local and global realms connecting jobseekers and data leaders to a wider range of opportunities.
  • Trained in AI Governance, Privacy (CIPP/C, CIPM), and Certified Analytics & Insights Professional (CAIP) and developed AI governance examination frameworks in collaboration with the IAPP
  • Spearheaded an annual global skills study, ensuring industry-wide alignment with emerging skills and trends across data and AI governance with results published on Market Research Institute International.
  • Expanded research engagement by organizing panel discussions, serving on various industry mentoring programs, and thought leadership events.
  • Served on founding global jury for Insight250, Greenbook Future List, and multiple global research and innovation awards and student competitions

If Elected, I Will…

📌 Continue expanding ESOMAR’s visibility and reach at an accelerated pace through my recurring career fairs, mentorship programs, and direct talent pathways to diverse and diverse-skilled under-35 year olds into industry leadership. I especially hope to grow ESOMAR’s young professional and mentorship programs, expanding YES membership beyond its current 1%.
