On April 28, 2023, at our Virtual Insights Career Fair, I kicked off the morning with a short presentation that discussed the top skills for success in the data, analytics and insights industry based on the results of the Generation1.ca Annual Global Industry Skills Study. This annual global study has been a two-phased study of a quantitative survey followed by qualitative discussions with industry leaders that are also hiring managers/ business leaders. I was grateful for the support and momentum with this initiative culminating in a virtual insights career fair, and I am looking to growing this study for the coming years with capable partners and supporters like you!
A summary of key findings is published in a blog post for MRII “A Snapshot of Skills in Data and Insights,” and a video-report of the study’s results is presented below.
Please also find excerpted below five video interviews from the twenty-five conducted with insight-driven global industry leaders who shared their views on skills gaps and opportunities for Generation1.ca’s 2023 Global Industry Skills Study. These interviews are a strong complement to better understanding the study’s findings and outlook on skills and talent needs in data and insights globally,
