Generation1.ca’s Founder and CEO, Arundati Dandapani, has been awarded a grant from National Public Readings (NPR) Program by the Canada Council for the Arts and The Writers’ Union of Canada to present readings from her book What is the Point of Canada? A No-Holds-Barred Guide to Immigrant Success in North America in October 2025. Through this support, Dandapani will share data-driven stories from the frontlines of immigration—powerful, unfiltered narratives that expose the challenges and celebrate the resilience of immigrant communities. Her presentation, Movers and Arrivers: Stories from the Centre, brings to light the voices of those moving closer to the mainstream than ever before, shaping the future of North American identity and society. This recognition reflects her continued commitment to amplifying immigrant perspectives through research, storytelling, AI literacy, innovation and data leadership.
