Climate, Tech, Governance: Spring 2025 Virtual Career Fair and Case Competition – Join us for Another Exciting Edition on April 25, Friday.

The Spring 2025 Generation1.ca Career Fair and Case Competition, themed around Climate, Tech, and Governance, comes at a crucial time as climate change, technology, and regulations are more interconnected than ever. Extreme weather events, driven by human-induced climate change, are disrupting economies, supply chains, and financial stability, challenging central banks to manage inflation and stability. This signals the need for more data and insights innovation to inform better decisions that support immigrant integration, economic empowerment and equity in an increasingly complex global landscape.

Recap of Experience:

We have some fantastic discussions lined up, engaged teams, and an incredibly strong theme (Climate, Tech, and Governance). The event provides top-tier attendees, and you’ll have direct access to CVs of participating candidates. As a sponsor and participant, you’ll also benefit from visibility across signage, media, and our event handbook and pages.

By participating in both this and our upcoming Fall editions, employers, sponsors and partners receive an automatic invitation to a couple of exclusive in-person sessions at local venues, where you’ll connect more deeply with potential candidates and also greater networks and industry. Additionally, you’ll get to attend “Meet the Experts” — an online session that stands apart from traditional job fairs. In this event, organizations will visit gig workers in their booths, creating an interactive, reverse job-fair experience for a couple of hours.

For your convenience, here’s the Employer Navigation Tool from Fall 2024, and the layout will be very similar in Spring 2025 where employers can decorate their booth with company resources, poters, presentations, other digital swag and invite as many colleagues from as many departments as you would like to interview / network with candidates 1:1 on your branded company tables within your employer exhibitor virtual booth.
