Generation1.ca Wins Best Paper Award at ESOMAR’s Art & Science of Innovation Conference in Chicago

Generation1.ca’s founder and CEO and Professor of business, data, analytics and insights at the Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, Arundati Dandapani, MLitt, CAIP, CIPP/C, CIPM,  was awarded the best paper award as the lead author of Voicing the New Global Immigrant Realities: Empowered Insights for an Underserved Market, a piece she began in December 2023, that was finally published in advance of her presentation at ESOMAR’s Art and Science of Innovation Conference in Chicago in June 2024.

Dandapani’s paper and presentation draws from her vision of insights around the cultural significance of the fastest growing group of citizens and consumers in North America being overlooked and underserved establishing the importance of immigrants to brands and public institutions now and in the next few decades. The paper goes on to discuss mindset actions brands and institutions must take to grow resonance with diverse multicultural immigrants, including tips and examples of where and how to research this group more effectively, why, and some projections and caveats for the future.

Arundati Dandapani also brought Procter & Gamble Canada for the first time ever at an ESOMAR conference and on-stage by offering Generation1.ca Spring 2024 career fair employer Procter and Gamble Canada’s Nancy Deng, Sr. Analytics and Insights Manager an opportunity to contribute to a portion of the presentation in Chicago, following a speaking and exhibiting opportunity at Generation1.ca’s Spring 2024 Virtual Insights Career Fair and Case Competition alongside other well-known industry employers on April 26, which was another hugely successful event that saw roughly 300 jobseekers network and interview with 15 employers .
