On Tuesday September 1, Generation1.ca was once again pleased to be invited to exhibit at Humber Polytechnic’s Downtown Career Resources Marketplace, engaging directly with diverse student cohorts and introducing them to opportunities designed to strengthen their skills, networks and career readiness.
New movers and arrivers and all those who visited our booth learned about our Fall 2026 Virtual Career Fair and Case Competition, taking place on September 25, as well as Generation1.ca’s year-round research-powered education, networking and professional-development programs online and offline.
These conversations reflect what it means to be a Future Ready Innovator: building the critical thinking and EDIB, data, AI and technological literacy, social capital and networks, financial literacy and well-being and professional purpose and confidence needed to navigate—and shape—the changing world of work.
We look forward to welcoming more enthusiastic learners and professionals into the Generation1.ca community and connecting them with advancement pathways, new employers, leading mentors and non-stop opportunities throughout the year. Diverse organizations, colleagues and visitors revealed their admiration for all Generation1.ca had become in its 11th year. Signature Generation1.ca Inclusion by Design T-shirts were also up for grabs, alongside a bottomless supply of candy to keep everyone energized through the conversations.
