Generation1.ca CEO Wins ESOMAR’s Best Paper of the Year Award

Generation1.ca’s founder and CEO, Professor Arundati Dandapani, has been honoured with the Best Paper of the Year Award at ESOMAR’s 2024 global conference in Athens, Greece competing against conference publications from South Africa, Argentina and the UK. The award recognizes her publication Voicing the New Global Immigrant Realities: Empowered Insights for an Underserved Market of which she is the primary author emphasizing the vital role of immigrants in North America’s industry, economy, society and culture. You can read Dandapani’s entire publication here excerpted from her book What is the Point of Canada? A No Holds Barred Guide to Immigrant Success in North America:

Dandapani’s paper draws from her larger and extensive research and book “What is the Point of Canada?” on North America’s immigrant journeys and experiences providing actionable strategies for brands and institutions to better engage with this fast-growing and disruptive demographic, a critical part of the talent pool, labour market and post-AI society. Generation1.ca was the case study for this paper, and our founder’s recurring career fairs and case competitions along with her other innovations were recognized as driving sector-wide innovation and change.

Our founder’s achievements underscores Generation1.ca’s commitment to empowering immigrants and fostering innovation, a mission that puts us in a unique place as we chart a new narrative for global immigrant stories. To further our mission of empowering North America’s immigrants to thrive as global citizens, we invite leading employers and organization to support Generation1.ca’s Fall 2024 Virtual Insights Career Fair and Case Competition to connect with top talent happening on September 27, Friday, 2024 between 10 am – 5 pm EST proudly supported by Bank of Canada and new and returning employers and organizations.
